Her outstanding performance as well as the environment for growth and success we foster at Ascendant caught the attention of the distinguished panel of professional judges responsible for evaluating candidates for the PRSA Foundation award. Among many impressive entries, Stella's submission stood out, reaffirming her commitment to excellence in the field of Public Relations and ours to support and teach growing professionals while serving our clients at the highest level.
During her time at Ascendant, Stella started as an intern Junior Brand Manager on our team. Her hard work and dedication alongside our environment for fostering growth led her to graduate into a full Brand Manager role where she was able to continue her work on a larger scale with more involvement. Throughout her time with Ascendant, Stella made a lasting impression on our team and clients. Her innovative ideas, strong work ethic, and exceptional communication skills made her an invaluable asset to our organization. Starting as a Junior Brand Manager, Stella dedicated her time to working alongside the seasoned professionals of Ascendant to learn and craft her skills. Her success is a testament to the opportunities we provide for growth and professional development within our company. We take great pride in nurturing and supporting talented individuals like Stella, and her achievements exemplify the caliber of individuals we attract and cultivate at Ascendant.
This past May, Stella graduated summa cum laude from The University of Delaware with a Bachelor of Arts in communication with a concentration in public relations and double minors in journalism and political communication. She was also awarded the UD 2023 Hal Kierce Memorial Award, which is presented to an outstanding Senior Communication/Public Relations major who, in the opinion of the faculty, has exhibited a commitment to professional excellence. Stella was the president of The University of Delaware’s PRSSA chapter, ie. the student let of PRSA. In her time on the executive board during her undergrad years, Stella sparked a love for Public Relations in so many students and was a trusted mentor and friend. Her remarkable ability to be so dedicated and successful in and out of the classroom is truly inspiring.
